I studied clinical medicine at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School and qualified as a doctor in 2006. During my undergraduate training I gained experience in paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology, psychiatry, public health, elderly care and General Practice.
I’ve been a practicing NHS GP since 2011, and work part time in a busy inner city practice in East London. My areas of interest are child health and development, women’s health, family planning, and chronic disease management by addressing lifestyle factors.

I currently live in London with my GP Husband and 2 young children. I love staying busy and active, and always do my best to fit exercise into my week – whether its going to an exercise class, yoga with the kids or dancing in my kitchen. I enjoy cooking, and regularly experiment with new foods and flavours. I discovered the positive health benefits of meditation and aim to fit it in to my day. Any spare time I have is usually spent reading, eating, photographing, crocheting or watching repeats of RuPaul’s drag race (my guilty pleasure).

Due to some personal life changing events, I have become a passionate believer in lifestyle medicine, in particular the role of nutrition, meditation and mindfulness on health and wellbeing. Being a busy mum, sister, daughter, friend, I understand the pressures that families and in particular women face. I think everyone should have the right knowledge and support to eat well, loose weight and live their best life.
